One-Step Preparation and Surface Modification of Polyelectrolyte-Coated PLGA Microparticles

Here, we introduce a novel, single-step,micromixer-based technology for theconcomitant production and electrostaticsurface coating of poly(lactide-co-glycolide)microparticles (PLGA MP). The potential forbioactive functionalization of chitosan-coatedPLGA MP was demonstrated by covalentconjugation of a biotinylated ligand.
