Effect of drug complexity on the release of glipizidefrom elementary osmotic pump

An oral glipizide elementary osmotic pump (EOP)was developed and the influence of drug complexity onthe enhancing of dissolution rate was studied . Amongformulations prepared the percent of PVP is asignificant effect on drug release rate. Furthermore,spray dried complex exhibited suitable solubilitybehavior in cores and osmotic tablets.
