It is suggested in this paper that a very exact correspondence exists between thevacuum degree and the electro-ionized charge quantity in a vacuum arc chamber whenexternal exciting source, geometric dimension, and used materials of the vacuum arcchamber are certain. Besides, a method to measure vacuum degree in a vacuum arcchamber by the ionized charge quantity and its application are introduced in the paper.
