In this paper, technology of glass fiber reinforced PEEK prepreg produced by melt impregnation is investigated. The influences of different technical parameters on glass fibre reinforced PEEK prepreg are studied by using TG, rheological behavior and mechanical test. The proper technical parameters of PEEK prepreg are formulated in accordance to aforementioned tests. Melt impregnation technical parameters include the use level of process assistant(DPS), temperature of glue slot and high temperature oven, fibre tension, the number of heat press roll and pressure as well as the rate of fibre tow.
