Little use of abundant information: Analysis of WWW search behavior from Macro and Micro levels

摘要

By using both Macro (log of search engines) and Micro (controlled experiment and eye camera) level data, we analyzed how people interact with vast amount of information on WWW and found that there were only few thoughtful interaction of users with the system. It is necessary for users to acknowledge and use useful facilities, which are incorporated systems such as search engines and other complex tools.
