The European Strategy for Reducing stand-By Losses in Consumer Electronics: Status and Results

The European Commission has implemented a comprehensive straegy for the reduction of stand-by losses of consumer electronic. It is estiamted that if adequate policies and programmes are implemented at European level, savings of 39TWh (and CO_2 emission reduction of 21 Mtonnes) per year cna be achieved by 2012.
