摘要

Hybrid solution of finite element method (FEM) and fast multipole Algorithm (FMA) for transversally anisotropic inhomogeneous cylinders is presented. FMA is used to solve the integral equation to reduce the computing time and computer memory needs in electrically large objects and FEM to deal with anisotropic medium region. The accuracy and efficiency of the method are verified by numerical results.
