A method of numerical generation of wind fluctuations was reviewed. By means of this method a series of inflow fluctuations was generated artificially as inlet boundary conditions. Using these signals a turbulent boundary layer at high Reynolds number was calculated by Large Eddy Simulation. Numerical simulations were carried out using five different inflows which had different characterstics on turbulence. The results were compared with the measured data and the infleunce of turbulence characteristics on the leeward calculation region were examined.
