The main research object of this article is the on line health monitoring smart composite structure that can self-diagnose the damage of composite material. Active monitoring technology and wavelet analysis method are adopted. Active monitoring technology using piezoelectric elements has many advantages. The on-line monitoring can be done at any time when it is needed, so energy will be saved.
