Discrete-event simulation and modeling are being widely used in the computer networks system. In this paper, it is to study, via comput6er simulation on discrete event - BONeS (Block Oriented Networks Simulation) software tool, the performance of shipborne LAN under varying traffic loads and channel constraints. This particular model concentrates on the actions between the additional hold-hand in networks application layer and the LAN system itself. The statistics result is very useful for finding network bottleneck and estimating the networks blocking probability.
