摘要

We have made relativistic calculations of energy levels and oscillator strengths in the isoelectronic sequences of neon and nickel. We investigate oscillator strength anomalies in both sequences and find that they are extremely sensitive to external perturbations. It will be necessary to include the effect of plasma microfield to properly model emission spectra of dense plasma.
