According to experimental results of dynamic field tests, a response of extermal girder is considerably different from internal one's. This difference is come from influence of torsional vibration coupling with bending vibration of a bridge. In this study, simultaneous nonstationary random vibrations of a bridge and moving vehicles are theoretically analyzed by means of random vibration theory, taking account of roadway roughness and coupling vibration of bending and torsion. RMS values of random response of a girder bridge are calculated and compared with those from simulation analysis.
