Brookfield viscosity of EBA hot melts did not vary significantly by changing the tackifier nature but pseudoplasticity was observed. The higher compatibility was obtained with pentaerythritol rosin ester, leading to higher elastic modulus and hot tack, and maximal T-peel and single lap-shear adhesion.
