NORMALIZED FITTINGS AND NOMOGRAM FOR DISC CAMS WITH TRANSLATING ROLLER FOLLOWER

摘要

The paper discusses the analytical method to determine the offset e and the radius r_(0min) of the minimun prime circle of the disc cam with translating roller follower under the condition that motion laws and allowable pressure angles are given. A normalised fitting expression and a nomogram are provided in the paper for 11 commonly used motion laws to determine the radius of minimum prime circle and the offset promptly and accurately.
