The first commercial Gas Reburning (GR) NO_X control system has been installed on a 105 MW tangentially-fired boiler at New York State Electric and Gas'Greenidge Station.A compliance test has confirmed that NO_X was reduced to less than 0.3 lb/10~6 Btu meeting the commercial guarantee.In addition,the GR system has been upgraded to Advanced Gas Reburning (AGR) as part of a demonstration project.The AGR system is projected to reduce NO_X further to nominally 0.1 lb/10~6 Btu.
