Detecting relative motion in moving point patterns

Relative motion carries valuable information for motionunderstanding and form perception. The authors present a scheme fordetecting relative motion in image sequences of moving point patterns.The proposed scheme uses the complexity of image plane trajectories todetermine the presence of relative motion. Experimental results for twomoving point pattern sequences are presented to demonstrate the proposedapproach
