摘要

Candidates for genes responsible for susceptibility of human cells to gravity stress were found by PCR-based mRNA differential display analysis. Expression of several genes was found to be differentially altered after exposure to gravity stress among cells with different sensitivity to far-ultraviolet light (UVC). Furthermore, when cells were exposed to serum from volunteers with gravity stress, increase of cell mutability and enhancement of UVC-mutagenicity was detected. These findings suggested that expression of specific genes and mutability of human cells are modulated by gravity stress itself or partially by involvement of cytokine-like factors in blood.
