Sensibility of comparator as an AD converter in remote control apparatus for riding farm machine

Remote equipment and operation of driving machines is a basic technique and requisite to make higher technical system. We report a remote control system for four-wheeled mowere. It contains the next four controllers and actuators for steering wheel, change lever, throttle lever and emergency engine stopper. We made a controller at the minimum cost, which is designed to replace to another machines, even to old ones. They are mainly signal circuits for shifting lever, and feedback control circuit for steering, using potentiometers as signal sensors. After cornering or turning at the end of field, when the operator released the controller, the steering wheel must return back, and the machine must turn back straight on its way back. We have carried out the tests aobut comparator in the steering signal circuit. We report how much the semi-fixed resistance should be to sense the slight voltage difference between comparators to turn back the steering wheel at the end line in various conditions.
