APPLICATION OF HIGHLY EFFICIENT PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES AT CSP PLANT OF BAOTOU STEEL

The highly efficient production techniques developed at CSPBT has come up to a quite high technical level. By two years application at CSPBT, it has achieved remarkable economic benefits. The monthly output has reached 240,000t in October 2004. At same month, the plant created a new record with 0.085% of breakout rate and 98% of yield from liquid steel to coils, In the year 2004, CSPBT annual production reached to 2.498 million tons of wider hot rolled strip Output has increased by 20.5% than last year. The record of sequence heats was broken again with 28 heats for one sequence on January 3,2005.
