Analysis of the critical path within a project with WinQSB software

摘要

This article presents the critical path method, stages of realization, the advantages and disadvantages of using it in a project. Critical path, consisting of some project activities, represents the longest path (as duration) of the project and any delay that occurs on this route will lead to project delay. The case study presents a real situation of a furniture manufacturing company that wish to expand their opportunities for sale, on the internet. The project must be implemented in a shortest time and with a lower cost, therefore, the analysis of critical path was done using PERT/CPM module, of the WINQSB decision analysis software.
