摘要

In mechanical process, such as milling parts, cutting parts and coiling sheets, line and arc is two kinds of the most common and most simple machining track. So the extraction of line and arc is of important significance in the practical application. Therefore, in this paper, the research object is a continuous, uninterrupted and uncrossed curve. This paper presents a method for identifying lines and arc based on line recognition algorithm of Freeman chain code, finally the basic geometric feature of round and rectangle is extracted. Experimental results prove that this method is feasible.
