Diffuse optical monitors for bed-side monitoring of cerebral hemodynamics at the neuro-intensive care unit

A hybrid diffuse optical monitor was developed for non-invasive, continuous monitoring of microvascular cerebral hemodynamics at the neuro-intensive unit. I present the fundamental physics, instrumentation and sample studies.
