Full range complex amplitude and phase-only spatial light modulator using twist nematic liquid crystal television

摘要

An ideal support of holograms and holographic filters is a spatial light modulaotor (SLM) that provides ocmplex amplitude modulation.Such a SLM is a real time wave front manipulator.However,the SLM is addressed by a single electricval or optical signal.It is impossible to contorl the phase and amplitude at each pixel of the SLM simultaneously and independently.Thus,th ifll range continuous compolex modulatin cna be otained only with a combination of at least two SLM's.
