This paper investigated the mechanical properties of High Modulus asphalt mixtures. The PR Modulus agent was used to produce High Modulus asphalt mixture. Based on design methods of high modulus asphalt mixtures, Marshall tests were performed to measure the mechanical properties of High modulus asphalt mixtures. Performance tests were also conducted to examine moisture susceptibility and dynamic stability. The test results show that Marshall stability and dynamic stability increase with the PR Modulus agent increase. The high modulus asphalt concrete possesses a good performance to resist rut and fatigue. The resistance to water damage performance can meet the demand of specifications. Based on the test results, a content of 0.5% by mass of mixture is recommended for PR modulus agent used in this study.
