Location Routing Problems (LRP) is one of the Systematic Optimization of Logistics Problems. This paper presents a two-phase improved genetic algorithm with control switch system architecture for the solution of LRP scheduling. Random switch is constructed to control crossover calculation and to improve the population complexity in the suggested method. This improved GA (IGA) architecture makes it possible to search the solution space efficiently, thus producing good solutions without local optimization. A computational study shows that the IGA with switch control system achieves significant improvement over a recent LRP heuristic.
