Research on Teaching Quality Control Mechanism in Higher Institutions

摘要

This paper studies the quality control mechanism in teaching and learning of the higher institutions from viewpoint of cybernetics. It presents the structure of quality control mechanism in teaching and learning, analyzes the influences of information management system, supervision system and motivation system on teaching quality control process. The characteristics of open-looped control and close-looped control in the quality control mechanism are emphasized. Apart form the above three systems, there must be in the quality control mechanism some approaches and measures to govern the indices or events related to the teaching quality since it is a dynamic control system. The results show that the quality control is completed by means of the establishment of the teaching-learning administration system, which is concerned with the information management, the supervision of the teaching learning process, the motivation of the teaching staffs and the students' enthusiasm, the teaching-learning administration organizations, etc. Meanwhile, it must be realized that the teaching-learning quality control system is an open system, the construction of which should be perfected gradually on the basis of continuous practice.
