In this paper, dielectric barrier discharges in air at one atmospheric pressure were generated and the atmospheric plasma was applied to surface modification of polyester/cotton blends. Both wettability and wickability of the polyester/cotton blends were studied. The study shows that, under the proper conditions, using atmospheric plasma can improve the wettability and wickability of the polyester/cotton blends to the level of pure cotton. The aging effect of the treated samples and dispersion degree of measured values are discussed.
