摘要

Currently, the Virtual Instrument technology is more and more widely used in the power system. In this paper, a distributed overvoltage on-line monitoring system, characterized by low cost, flexibility and reliability, is proposed. This system is composed of a digital measurement instruments that can realize many functions, such as remote data acquisition, proceeding and analysis, overvoltage diagnosis and alarm. The introduced system is proved and verified through real time test examples. The obtained results indicate that, the introduced system can detect most of the overvoltage disturbance events fast and accurately.
