Study on Application of Controlled Blasting Technique in Demolition of Hot Stoves

The hot stove in the factory of puddling is a kind of special high construction, which the inner part fills up heat fireproof material and the body materials of stoves including much medium. So it is very difficult to tear down that construction with the traditional method. This paper introduces the successful experience, which has been achieved in hot stoves bias-ting with the technique of controlled blasting that combines cumulative blasting and drilling blasting. It discusses the principle of selecting the shape, the height and length of blasting cut and the control of vibration when the construction falls to the ground in detail. Furthermore it describes the blasting parameter, the blasting device, the ignition network and the effect of blasting and so on. Moreover, it offers a very meaningful value for the similar engineering.
