International e-business requires a 'common language'

In our global society, more and more information is exchanged at ever faster rates. This information is generated at a number of different places around the world and spread via the Internet. Over the course of international e-business developments, information about products and services is required in order to facilitate business relationships between customers and suppliers. In order to conduct such commercial activities in the most direct manner possible, unambiguous descriptions and definitions need to be chosen that everyone clearly understands. In other words, we need a "common language" for international business.
