Current status of Dosimetric Monitoring in Ukraine and Development of the United System for Monitoring and Recording of IndividualDoses

About 38,000 individuals are occupationally exposed in Ukraine and require regular monitoring andrnrecording of their individual doses. The paper reviews the current status of dosimetric monitoring infrastructurernin Ukraine with special emphasis on the problematic aspects of the existing elements of personal dosimetry.rnObsolete equipment, lack of harmonization and absence of data transfer infrastructure and dosimetry registriesrndictate the need to establish the united state system for monitoring and recording of individual doses in Ukraine.rnThe proposed three-level System is discussed in the paper reflecting the main tasks and objectives of the Systemrnas whole and its specific elements.
