STUDY ON THE PROCESS REENGINEERING LIFE CYCLE METHODOLOGY

The Process Reengineering Life Cycle (PRLC) is a methodology of BPR. It attempts to capture the procedural, human, communication, technological and socio-technical dimensions of a business process. It typically lead to a design of work flows, control process, job definitions, reward structures, communication structure, organizational structure and boundaries, technological infrastructure, and, in some cases, organizational culture, philosophy and the nature of the business itself. The PRLC provides a valuable reengineering framework, and enhances the competence of the corporations. Practitioner may use the PRLC framework as a starting point in understanding high-level similarities descriptive of BPR projects.
