By means of system dynamics, beginning with new products marketing, this paper investigates the dynamic relationship between retainer (the quantity of a new product which has been sold and is still usable) and time. And then it presents the general dynamic equation about retainer and time, on basis of it, introduces several particular but meaningful dynamic equations in application. Finally, it discusses the mathematic and economic meaning of the equations qualitatively and quantificationally. The goal is to help the government with macroeconomic regulation or to help the manufacturers with market forecasting before investing on new product.
