APPLYING BPR THEORY TO ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE FOR SUPPLY CHAIN ENTERPRISES

This paper elaborates the relationship between Supply Chain Management(SCM)and Business Process Reengineering(BPR), and points out that the goals of SCM and BPR are consistent. The traditional enterprise's organizational model is summed up through investigating the supplying relationship in traditional enterprises; According to the demand of SCM theory, the author discussed the basic feature of organization structure of supply chain enterprises. and applied BPR theory to establishing organization structure of supply chain enterprises which is available for China. Considering the concrete case, the author puts forward the scheme of enterprise's applying BPR theory to the enterprise transform. Through the support of Intranet and Internet on the organization structure of supply chain enterprise, the transition from the traditional management model to SCM is achieved.
