THE INTEGRATED SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT AND ITS PERFORMANCE MEASURE

Supply Chain Management (SCM) is an advanced Business & Operation Model. With the coming of economic globalization and the era of knowledge economy, Integrated SCM and its effective performance measure increasingly become the focus of people. In this article, based on introducing the theory of SCM and the Internet circumstance, Integrated SCM is analyzed. The problems encountered during implementing SCM and the solutions are discussed. At the same time, how to measure the performance of SCM is also elaborated. Based on organizational objectives, customer needs and critical success factors, we propose to adopt Benchmarking to establish the performance measurement and to devise the effective process of performance measurement. Lastly, combining with the current conditions of Chinese firms, the future tasks of Chinese companies are discussed.
