摘要

This paper presents methodologies for how to perform an interaction of a shock wave with an unsteady boundary layer in the case of a favourable pressure gradient in the laboratory, which are the electrical controlled double driver shock tube and the double driver shock tube with rarefaction wave bursting diaphragm. The interaction phenomena are theoretically analyzed. In fact, we can take the interaction of a shock wave with an unsteady boundary layer under a favourable pressure gradient as a diffraction of a shock wave past a waist drum-like channel. Mathematical descriptions of the interaction are given based on the theory of geometrical shock dynamics.
