摘要

Experiments were performed to determine the composition of the decomposition products of EPS in LFC by the special sampling injector for aluminum,iron and steel castings.Then,thermal decomposition process of EPS was analyzed in detail.The results showed that the decomposition products of EPS in LFC were produced by a large quantity of secondary reactions,and the composition of these products were considerably different from that of the pyrolzates of pylystyrene in high resolution Pyrolysis Gas Chromatography (PyGC).The ocmposion of hte decomposition products of EPS is dependent on the extent of secondary reactions.
