Comparative Study on Dyeing Rate of Acid Dyestuffs on Poplar Veneer Dyeing

To study the variation regularity of the acid dyestuffs dyeing rate in the process of wood dyeing and the effect of dyestuffs admixture on the dyeing rate, 5 kinds of acid dyestuffs are applied to dye poplar veneers. The results as following are got by comparing their dyeing rates. The process of poplar veneers dyeing with acid dyestuffs can be divided into 3 phases: uniform rate phase, declining rate phase, and the equilibrium phase; The dyeing rates of different dyestuffs are different in the process of poplar veneers dyeing, and the dividing points of the 3 phases and the ultimate adsorbing quantity are different either; The dyeing rates of dyestuffs are varied when they are mixed, and the variations are related to the gaps of their respective dyeing rates.
