The information Integration Research on Electronic Commerce in Construction Industry

With the development of the information technique, the application of electronic commerce is more enhanced in construction industry. The information integration research of electronic commerce is significant for construction industry to make full use of information. This paper examines the problem of information islands lying in construction industry, and proposes the plan of applying the advanced IFC and XML to the information integration for construction industry. On the basis of the analysis about IFC and XML, the paper explores the cooperation foundation of IFC and XML, and then builds up the model of information integration for electronic commerce, which composes the application system.
