Thermal Hazards Investigation of A Pharmaceutical Intermediate

During a changeover to a new process producing a pharmaceutical intermediate, a hydrate form was discovered which showed significantly lower thermal stability than the original anhydrous form. The thermal hazard investigation of this new form is going to be presented and discussed.
