The examples described demonstrate that effective noise control techniques have been applied toJet Aircraft Test Facilities to protect personnel working near operating engines and to residents innearby communities.The use of advanced materials and manufacturing techniques have made it possible to designnoise control systems that provide long service life with limited maintenance. All this has beenaccomplished with Air-Cooling, saving water resources and energy.
