Large experimental facilities always require the development or personalization of many non-conventional systems which will constitute a relevant part of the machine. For this reason in these cases an approach based on Systems Engineering is very useful to support the design choices given the complexity of the project and the many interconnections between different systems and subsystems. The case in analysis is the Divertor Tokamak Test (DTT), a nuclear fusion facility based in ENEA C.R. Frascati, Italy. The goal of this work is to present the development of an agile tool aimed at ensuring the consistency of design choices with project requirements, propagating them through systems, subsystems and components with the associated technical specifications. Additionally, a methodology for requirements verification in the construction phase is discussed. In the presentation of the methodology implemented, the practical application to three different situations within the DTT project development is discussed.
