摘要

The paper presents the approach to a magnetic field calculation, based on the fast multipole method. The implemented approach has been applied to the calculation of the magnetic field generated by a group of current coils of the electron cooling system of the charged particles accelerator. The analysis of computational costs and calculations accuracy of the multipole approach is given based on the obtained field calculation results for the system containing a large number of coils.
