The article deals with the issues of electromagnetic compatibility of vacuum circuit breakers with electrical equipment of medium voltage. Technical solutions are offered for the elimination of high-frequency overvoltage acting on the cables with cross-linked polyethylene insulation, electric motors and power transformers medium voltage at its switching with vacuum circuit breakers.
