摘要

The paper considers the numerical modeling of the multi-phase flow with the use of the finite element method in porous media. The purpose of numerical experiments is to select the optimal polymer concentration in a water solution applied as a displacement agent. The study of the polymer concentration impact on the level of oil recovery has been performed with the use of the model emulating the operation of exploitation and several injection wells. As a result of numerical experiments, the values of additional oil recovery versus oil viscosity and polymer concentration in the water solution are obtained.
