An analysis of the waiting time for the M/G/1 system while processing a correlated traffic

In this work, the behavior of G/G/1 system in the processing of traffic with high autocorrelation has been studied. As an approximation, it is proposed to use the H2 distribution. As a result, an analytical evaluation of the waiting time of the packet in the queue has been obtained. The result is verified using simulation modeling.
