The main idea of using a dc to dc plug and outlet with high efficiency for household appliances is proposed in this paper. A five-level, 300-W, 200-kHz diode-clamped multilevel technique with selective harmonic elimination is utilized as a power source with input from a 300-V DC link bus and output controlled at 48V. A contactless transformer with an air core and a ferromagnetic material core was chosen in this study for testing and evaluation. Electric shock elimination, galvanic isolation, and arc-free operation can be achieved with this scheme. Additionally, the design's low total harmonic distortion can reduce the size of the inductive power transformer core and increase the power density of the system. Moreover, an LLC series resonance technique with fundamental harmonic approximation (FHA) was designed and added to the rear side of the power converter to achieve the zero voltage switching condition. Finally, the outcome is illustrated by both MATLAB/Simulink and experimental results.
