摘要

The results of industrial research into the energy efficiency of ladle furnace installations in metallurgical enterprises are considered. Based on the comparison of the thermal characteristics of the installation and the electrical parameters of arcs, the influence of the stability of the electric arc device on the heating efficiency of the metal melt is evaluated. The technique of estimation of complex efficiency of installation in the conditions of incomplete technical information is offered. The influence of the duration of the heating periods on the efficiency of the installation has been studied and measures have been proposed to increase the energy efficiency of heating the steel.
