The classification of methods for measuring parameters (root-mean-square values of voltage and current, active and reactive power) using instantaneous values of harmonic signals, separated in time, is considered. An analysis of methods for determining integral characteristics from the instantaneous values of harmonic signals is made, calculation of the quantization error is carried out. The main conclusions for each method of measurement are given. The obtained results allow choosing the appropriate hardware depending on the required accuracy of measurement of the parameters.
