The adsorption regular of water-washing waste Saccharomyces cerevisiae on multi-heavy metal ionsof different combination in the wastewater was studied using water-washing waste Saccharomycescerevisiae as adsorbent. Experimental results show that adsorption result was good when four ionsexisting by oneself and adsorption result was effected very much when four ions co-existing onconditions with Cd~(2+) concentration in wastewater about 26mg/L, and Cu~(2+), Pb~(2+), Zn~(2+) concentrationin wastewater about 100mg/L, the stiring revolution of 800r/min, pH value about 5.0,the dosage ofwater-washing waste Saccharomyces cerevisiae 40g/L (wet weight) at normal temperature of 25℃.The adsorption mechanism of water-washing waste Saccharomyces cerevisiae to heavy metal ionswas analysed by the Zeta potential , infrared spectroscopy and adsorption results of the cells. Theresult showed that the chemistry chelating, electrostatic force, hydrogen bonding and ions exchangeall fountion in the adsorption process.
